2012 African-American Top 20

Thank you for all the love and support you've shown the designers for our African American Top 20 list!  It's been more impactful than I could have imagined.  The editors at Editor-at-Large posted the list a few days after it was released.  This was huge for the designers on the list because it immediately gave them national exposure.  Since then, the African American Top 20 has been referenced on countless blogs and online news outlets.  Most of the designers were contacted and have been
featured in both national and international publications.

I read all of your comments and took new recommendations and names of designers.
The list continues to evolve and I ask for your continued support of it and the designers represented.

This year, we're having a party!  The 2012 list will be unveiled in Manhattan, New York where we're gathering at Jay-Z's 40/40 Club to celebrate the designers and their contributions to the interior design industry.  This will be the first time many of the designers will meet each other in person and I can't wait to see these icons interact.  I am so excited to debut such an event this year and
hope that you will join us in the celebration.

Without further ado, here are the designers selected for the
2012 African American Top 20 Interior Designers List.
